I'm very excited this morning!  Several businesses have contacted me over the weekend about including Queasy Beads in their gift baskets for various upcoming benefits they are involved in.  I am more than happy to contribute.  It's truly a great feeling knowing I can do something like donating Queasy Beads Gift Certificates to worthy causes, including Breast Cancer Awareness.  It's also nice to know that the word is getting out about how wearing Queasy Beads can help people feel better!  :)

Well, it's Saturday and it has been a great day!  Working on a few Queasy Beads orders to ship on Monday, taking my one son to bowling, the other one to swim practice.  Then into town again to pick up our dinner at the BBQ chicken fundraiser for my son's swim team!  A little embarrassed to say that I ate too much but....not embarrassed to say that I love my Queasy Beads for helping my stomach feel better!!!!!!!  Today I'm wearing 2 different styles on each wrist and it doesn't even matter! :)  Tummy is settled...ahhhh.....

Custom Queasy Beads!

Custom Queasy Beads ~ Queasy Beads bracelets that are not only custom-made to fit everyone's own personal wrist size, but custom colors, as well!  I have been thinking about doing this for a while now and it seems like now might just be the time to follow-thru on this!  So, soon I will be offering "Custom Orders" for Queasy Beads.  That means I will post on my website, www.queasybeads.com, FB and Etsy pictures of several colors of in-stock beads and customers will be able to pick and choose the colors of beads they would like me to use to create their Queasy Beads bracelets.  Only certain colors will be available, due to the particular beads needed for the best acupressure results, but I'm very excited about this!  :)

I'm realizing today that there are many people who are skeptical of acupressure for nausea relief.  It's very hard to convince people that acupressure really can work if they are not willing to try it for themselves.  Maybe, in time, skeptics will become believers.  If not with Queasy Beads, then with another brand of acupressure wristbands. It really doesn't matter at this point.  I would just like people to realize that acupressure is a REAL, drug-free remedy that can help them feel better.  Queasy Beads just happen to be a fashionable alternative to those other nausea relief brands.  Of course, I would like all acupressure wristband believers to wear Queasy Beads, but getting people to become acupressure believers in the first place seems more important at this point.

We Believe in Queasy Beads!

I am so excited to be receiving so much positive feedback from friends and fans tonight on Facebook.  It's just wonderful to hear from everyone about how wearing their Queasy Beads bracelets has made them feel better!  That's what it's all about.... :)

Why did I create Queasy Beads acupressure bracelets?

Why did I create Queasy Beads acupressure bracelets?

Because the acupressure wristbands I was wearing (from the drugstore) to calm my nauseous stomach (w/ my migraines) worked but they were NOT pretty.

So, after not finding any wristbands that were fashionable, I researched how acupressure helps relieve all kinds of ailments, including nausea.  Then I started out designing a pair myself.   I used specific, beads from my craft stash, as well as a certain cording (after lots of trial and error) and the final bracelets I made worked just the same and they were much prettier!  Soon, I was wearing them all the time to calm any kind of stomach queasiness I had.

It wasn't until a few years ago that I finally started my business to share my bracelets with the world.  Now Queasy Beads ~ Stylish Motion Sickness & Nausea Relief Bracelets are helping people everywhere calm their queasy stomachs in style! :)

Found this Breast Cancer Awareness bead last week and wanted to use it for a set of Queasy Beads.  Just today finished the matching bracelet ~ first attempt but I like it because it's simple.

Pink Ribbon Queasy Beads Bracelet in the works!

Well, I never did get a chance to design a new pair of QB's for New Year's Eve so I wore "Starlight" (one of my go-to pairs!)  Anyway, I saw this pink ribbon bead at the craft store the other day and I just had to buy it and see how I could use it in a pair of Queasy Beads.  Here is the photo of my first attempt:
I designed it in just the right way so that the acupressure bead (the large pink bead) rests exactly on the acupressure point under my wrist. I got it to work!

Since Queasy Beads come in sets of (2), I'm thinking the matching bracelet will look the same as this one but without the pink ribbon bead.  I really want to hi-light the ribbon and not take away from the message.

It's a very basic 1st attempt ~ feel free to leave a comment if you like. :)

How do Queasy Beads Work?

Queasy Beads bracelets are designed to work by stimulating the P6 acupressure points located on your inner wrists as shown here.
Acupressure Point
When light pressure is applied to these points, your central nervous system is activated. It sends signals to your brain to release neurotransmitters that block the chemicals that are making you feel nauseous in the first place.
Queasy Beads Bracelets resting on the acupressure pointQueasy Beads Stylish Motion Sickness & Nausea Relief Bracelets are designed and custom-made to fit your individual wrist size. This ensures a perfect fit for the best acupressure results.

What makes Queasy Beads different from other acupressure wristbands?
In addition to being a drug-free, natural remedy for relieving your queasy stomach, Queasy Beads bracelets are fashionable accessories and esily coordinate with any outfit in your wardrobe.

Also, every pair of Queasy Beads bracelets is individually designed and custom-made to fit your individual wrist size. A customized fit can better help you achieve the benefits of using acupressure to relieve your motion sickness or stomach nausea.  http://www.queasybeads.com
